Our vineyards

Our vineyards extend throughout the fertile soils of the most beautiful place in Montenegro. Zagarach and Građani are the slopes near Lake Skadar which is the largest lake in the Balkans and a famous nature reserve of the country.

Gradjani

Gradjani is a mountain range located in the central part of Montenegro. Its height is 400 meters above sea level. The rocky area is rich in clay and sand. The climate is rather harsh. There is a big temperature difference and the strong influence of the winds that blow from the Adriatic Sea on the weather. Such autochthonous grapevine varieties such as Gigiac, Troika, or Morava grow there. They are used to make white wines which are famous by the mineral characteristics and the optimum alcohol content aroma ratio.

Zagarac, Tuzi.

Zagarac is a wonderful natural amphitheater that overlooks Podgorica. The influence of the mountainous terrain is rather not evident. The climate there is way better. There is a good airflow. Zagarac is an ideal place to grow such red grapevine varietiy as Vranac.

Tuzi. Up until the mid-19th century, this plateau located between the mountains and the sea was empty and uncultivated. Now, this area is characterized by smooth alluvial soils. The climate there is mild. It is warm both in summer and in winter. This is possible due to the winds blowing from Lake Skadar which is located nearby. All this provides ideal conditions for growing Vranac. Very rich wines and alcoholic beverages with specific, but balanced alcohol content come from Tuzi.
